Do I need any qualifications?

No prior qualifications required. The course is designed for any adult wanting to support young people's mental health.

​Which format should I choose?
  • Option 1: Blended Online: Most flexible, learn from home or office

  • Option 2: Blended Face-to-Face: Flexibility + hands-on practice (currently only available for in-house training for schools or organisations)

  • Option 3: Face-to-Face: Traditional learning, maximum interaction (currently only available for in-house training for schools or organisations)

All formats cover the same content with the same accreditation.

How long is the certification valid?

3 years. Refresher training available to renew.

What if minimum numbers aren't met for public courses?

You'll receive full refund or free transfer to another date.

Is funding available for schools?

​​​​Yes! Victorian Department of Education schools can access funding through the Mental Health Fund and Menu. Learn more here

What's the minimum & maximum group size for organisational training?

We recommend minimum 8 participants, and the maximum for any course is 22 participants. 

How far in advance should I book?

2-4 weeks recommended, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter timeframes.

Can you deliver outside business hours?

​Yes! We can schedule evenings, weekends, or school holidays.

Is this recognised Australia-wide?

Yes, certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia is nationally recognised.
